Prego Pictures

My First Trimester
How do I feel?

Happy to be prego! Very nervous in 1st trimester with placenta previa and bleeding. Relieved after lots of prayers and a wonderful blessing and no more bleeding. Thank goodness for a Mother in law who lives close by who helped watch my 3 year old Austin. I remember being nauseaus and hungry at the same time for about two months. Happy one second and crying the next! Definitely a rollercoaster of emotions!
Activities:
We enjoyed a trip to Corpus Christi to visit my brother. Austin loved the beach just like his Daddy. I loved visiting with my brother and eating the fresh fish that my brother caught and grilled for us!

After Corpus Christi I enjoyed visiting my hometown San Antonio! I saw some of my old Young Women friends at a reunion and that was awesome! I especially loved seeing my favorite teacher Suzanna. While in SA I got to visit with my Mom, Dad, Sister and sweet nephew Ethan.

My Second Trimester

How do I feel?

Very Happy! Very happy to find out that the baby is a girl! I think about her a lot and wonder what she will be like.
Activities:

I relax on a cruise with my husband while my wonderful parents watch Austin. I enjoy visiting with my Mom and Dad while they are in El Paso. I also took a trip to Dallas where I visited with lots of family. My sweet sister had a baby shower for Christy Lee while I was in Dallas. It was the best trimester for sure!

My Third Trimester
How do I feel? Very Tired and Big
Activities:
I pick up Austin from preschool and we do something special together. Then I turn on cartoons before his nap and fall asleep accidently on the couch. Then my son wakes me up every 30 minutes to ask if he can watch another cartoon before his nap. This goes on for at least 2- 3 cartoons. Then I drag myself off the couch and up the stairs to put him down for his nap. Ofcourse, I can not go back to sleep. I am wide awake and craving a snack, preferably something chocolate with a glass of milk. I am extremely hormonal! Sorry Babe!

In the evenings, I really enjoy my husband taking our son to the park. It is a great break for me! I lay down on the couch and watch one of my shows and enjoy feeling Christy Lee with her sweet kicks!

What do you get free when you look pitiful?

Guess What? Today I looked pitiful! I threw on some comfortable clothes, did not fix my hair or makeup and went to drop off my son to preschool. Here is a picture of the shirt I was wearing-it looks much worse on! On the way back I stopped at Discount Tire to replace the tire stems on my car because of a recall. Well, they tried to sell me 2 new tires and told me one of the tires really needed replaced and I said no. My husband just spent $1200 on repairs including a timing belt,ac and a lot of other repairs. We have 2 cars paid off and ofcourse they both went to the shop this week. Anyway, my husband told me, do not let them sell you new tires. So I said no and they said come back in an hour. Well, I went and got a pedicure next door and felt like a total scrub! All the women customers looked like they just left the salon and I felt like a bum. So I finished my pedicure and went to pick up my car and guess what? The nice guy at Discount Tire told me he replaced one of the tires for free because he could not in good conscience send a pregnant women home on that dangerous tire. I was sooo happy! We will definitely buy all our tires at Discount Tire. The morale of the story is sometimes it pays off to look pitiful! But, when I did get home you can believe I changed my clothes and fixed my hair before I left the house again!

My new niece Kristin

This is my sweet niece. I love her so much! I am looking forward to seeing Kristin and Christy Lee growing up together.

New Mexico Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch

Austin and his friend Georgia(G.G.) had a blast playing together at the Corn Maze/Picnic Patch. Austin and G.G. rode down a hillside slide about 20 times. They ran up the hill the first ten times and by the last trip they were crawling up the hill. They loved every minute of it! My friend Jen(G.G.'s Mom)is very brave and took both kids down the slide on her lap in the beginning. Then we enjoyed sitting at a picnic table visiting in the shade. We all had a great time.
